P-dichlorobenzene is the main raw material of PPS polyphenylene sulfide which is the sixth largest engineering plastics in China. PPS is mainly used in aviation, automobile, machinery, household appliances, etc. Due to the technical content of p-dichlorobenzene in China is still in the early stage it cannot meet the standards for PPS production, there is a shortage of more than 200,000 tons of P-dichlorobenzene in China at present, and 300,000 tons of p-dichlorobenzene is needed.
